Melania Trump announces 'Be Best' campaign for child well-being

Melania Trump announces 'Be Best' campaign for child well-being

"The Washington Post, among many things, reported that there are "persistent rumors" that Mrs. Trump does not live in this White House and that she lives with her parents somewhere in the suburbs".

"Mrs. Trump wishes to help the next generation by creating change through awareness on a variety of issues that affect children", she said.

The ratings come the same day the First Lady announced her "Be Best" initiative that will advocate for children.

The campaign will focus on the issues of well-being, social media and opioid abuse, she said.

"As a mother and as first lady, it concerns me that in today's fast-paced and ever-connected world, children can be less prepared to express or manage their emotions and often times turn to forms of destructive or addictive behavior such as bullying, drug addiction or even suicide", she said in prepared remarks.

"I always believe that you need to treat each other with respect and kindness and compassion, but also stay true to yourself", she told students in a visit to MI, per CNN.

Trump's agenda for children has already included visits to children's hospitals and schools and an invitation to 12 children for a White House listening session.

School's 'mystery pooper' identified as nearby district's superintendent
Tramaglini lives several miles from the school but is superintendent of a different school district, in Kenilworth. The district said unpaid leave would only occur, "in the face of indictments or tenure charges".

In March, the first lady hosted representatives of the major online and social media companies at the White House to discuss cyberbullying and internet safety.

The first lady plans said she will travel as part of the initiative.

Selection has recently been the technique in late months; Trump's public events have touched on everything from assisting kids fight negativity, to working with all the ramifications of opioid misuse on teens and becoming nice when using the social media marketing.

U.S. first lady Melania Trump delivers remarks at the "launch of her initiatives" as first lady in the Rose Garden of the White House in Washington, U.S., May 7, 2018.

By promoting values such as healthy living, encouragement, kindness, and respect, parents, teachers, and other adults can help prepare children for their futures.

"Together let's encourage children to dream big, think big and do all they can to be best in everything that they do", the first lady said. "The First Lady sees it to be an important issue and something she wants to address".

The first lady said it was the responsibility of adults to help support children as they grow to become productive members of society and the global community.
