'Black Panther' has broken yet another record

'Black Panther' has broken yet another record

There is yet another milestone for the film "Black Panther.' It's now the top grossing superhero film of all time". Since then, T'Challa and crew have broken down a slew of other barriers including Fandango's presale ticket record. Black Panther has not even concluded its theatrical run.

Black Panther held the top spot at the U.S. box office for five straight weekends, but was finally dethroned (paywall) by Pacific Rim Uprising. The film earned praise for its progressive values, mostly black cast, sympathetic portrayal of African cultures, and performances. That movie grossed $623.4 million (£441m) in 2012, while Black Panther has now brought in $630.9 million (£446.3m). Opposite him are the likes of Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis.

One thing's for certain: With "Infinity War's" third act reportedly set on Black Panther's home turf, the one-two box-office punch of Marvel's first two 2018 releases is a win-win for the pop domination of Wakanda.

But she claimed Trump kissed her "very aggressively" and grabbed her breast, and became angry when she rebuffed him. Maria Glover, a law professor at Georgetown University, said that the decision will nearly certainly go to appeal.

The superhero film from Walt Disney Co.'s DIS, Marvel Studios topped the domestic box office for a fifth straight week, becoming the first movie to do so since "Avatar" in 2009. Avengers: Age of Ultron has a total collection of 1.40 billion dollars while Iron Man is at 1.21 billion dollars. It must now cross the $1.5 billion threshold in order to be crowned the highest grossing comic book movie of all time in the worldwide box office.

Ryan Coogler's film is also the best-reviewed film of the 18-movie series, with a 97% rating on review aggregator, Rotten Tomatoes.
