Adea Shabani, Missing Actress, May Be Body in Shallow Grave

Remains found in a shallow grave in Northern California this week were positively identified as those of a 25-year-old woman who had been missing since last month, officials confirmed Wednesday.

Spotz initially told authorities that he and Shabani had traveled to Northern California but they had gotten into an argument and he had dropped the 25-year-old off on the side of the freeway.

Adea Shabani, 25, was last seen February 23, 2018, on Wilcox Avenue between Hollywood Boulevard and Franklin Avenue in Hollywood.

Adea Shabani vanished in February.

Discrepancies in Spotz's alibi raised warning bells but he disappeared before police could track him down for further questioning.

North Hollywood actor Christopher Spotz, 33, the boyfriend of missing Hollywood actress Adea Shabani, killed himself March 22, 2018, in Corona at the end of a law enforcement pursuit. "We can not say that conclusively at this point in time because the condition of the remains prohibited positive identification". They did eventually gather other information during the search that led them to the shallow grave where the remains were found on Tuesday.

Iowa Family of 4 Vacationing in Mexico Found Dead in Condo
An advisory on the State Department's website last updated this month advises caution for Americans traveling to Mexico. A relative of the family posted to Facebook that the family had been located and that there weren't signs of foul play.

"We are devastated", said John Jack Rodgers, the Academy's executive director, recalling that she was "growing immensely" in her craft.

A auto chase ensued, and Spotz eventually used a handgun to shoot himself in the head.

Shabani came from Macedonia and had been in Los Angeles less than two years, according to her friends.

When Spotz committed suicide in a stolen pick-up truck on Thursday, police said they were still investigating Ms Shabni's disappearance as a missing persons case.

"Something happened and I believe it to be somewhat untoward", he said at a downtown Los Angeles news conference. The captain said Spotz had at one point retained an attorney and that the investigation into Shabani's disappearance also took them to homes in Northern California and Colorado where Spotz has family. At some point, the investigation led authorities to a lake at the Woods Wildlife Area in Nicholas, California, but they were not successful in finding anything. Though he had an intimate relationship with Shabani, he was engaged to another person.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the LAPD's Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800 or 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (during off-hours) or call the L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
