Uma Thurman vs. Quentin Tarantino: More Hollywood hypocrisy

Uma Thurman vs. Quentin Tarantino: More Hollywood hypocrisy

This Monday, February 5, the actress shared a video on her social media, and she said that it's from 2003 from the movie directed by Quentin Tarantino.

"Watching her fight for the wheel.remembering me hammering about how it was safe and she could do it. Emphasising that it was a straight road, a straight road. the fact that she believe me, and I literally watched this little S curve pop up".

"And it spins her like a top".

It's the biggest regret of my life, getting her to do that stunt.

Uma Thurman's New York Times interview continues to make ripples.

She said she was finally given footage of the crash by Tarantino this year after being denied it by Kill Bill producer Harvey Weinstein for 15 years.

The online version of the article also included online footage of the accident, which Uma said permanently damaged her neck and knees. If we need to do it a second time, we will.

"Quentin came in my trailer and didn't like to hear no, like any director", she told Dowd. "We had to go through storage facilities, pulling out boxes".

He continued: "Me and Uma had our issues about the crash". Then, we found the crash footage. "I hope they look after other clients more respectfully if they in fact want to do the job for which they take money with any decency".

Colts officially hire McDaniels as head coach
While there are some concerns about Luck's health, McDaniels must have confidence that he will be ready for next season. National Football League rules prohibited the Colts from making the hiring official until the Patriots' season ended.

Quentin Tarantino has responded to allegations that he forced actor Uma Thurman into unsafe working conditions during the filming of Kill Bill, calling his decision to get her to perform a stunt "the biggest regret of my life". In the interview with Dowd, Thurman says the auto drifted off the road and smashed into a palm tree nearby. "It affected me and Uma for the next two to three years". "It wasn't like we didn't talk", he said. "But a trust was broken", he admitted. I didn't think for a moment she was just going to sit on it. "And then the last four days, in what we thought would be a simple driving shot, nearly kills her". The 2003 chat included an nearly eight-minute defense by the Pulp Fiction director of Roman Polanski.

"He didn't rape a 13-year-old", Tarantino said.

In addition to admitting that he knew of the incident, Tarantino also said he felt guilty for his complacency in what he then considered "harmless" behaviour.

Of his years of involvement with Weinstein, Tarantino said, "One of the things that has happened in this whole thing is there is a lot of staring in the mirror. It was statutory rape... he had sex with a minor", Tarantino said. "It's not the same thing". "To me, when you use the word rape, you're talking about violent, throwing them down - it's like one of the most violent crimes in the world". Thurman had safety concerns about driving the vehicle, but she was assured by Tarantino that there were no problems. You can't throw the word rape around. "It's like throwing the word 'racist" around. The 84-year-old "Carnage" director pleaded guilty to unlawful sex with a minor, but fled the country in 1978 before sentencing.

Tarantino was asked by Stern why Hollywood still embraced Polanski despite the alleged assault of a child.

"She wanted to have it".

Mira Sorvino, who dated Quentin Tarantino at one point, had also been harassed by Harvey Weinstein. "And by the way, we're talking about America's morals, we're not talking about the morals in Europe and everything".

Tarantino said they tried to use fake spit, but it didn't look real enough. She subsequently wrote on Instagram that she doesn't believe there was malicious intent behind Tarantino's having her do the stunt, though she still finds the situation "negligent to the point of criminality".
