Dolores O'Riordan inquest: Test results due on The Cranberries singer's body

The Cranberries' frontwoman's body is now in repose at St Joseph's Church in Limerick city, with fans invited to say goodbye to the star from 12.30pm to 4pm. It's an honor typically reserved for dignitaries.

"We come to offer a heartfelt greeting to a deeply loved and cherished daughter of Limerick".

Her mother Eileen and her six siblings accompanied her coffin into the church.

Brendan Leahy, Bishop of Limerick, told the crowd: "I am conscious that, while millions across the world have been shocked by the sad news of her death, today is about Limerick's public moment to bid farewell".

Hundreds of fans have arrived to pay their respects and say goodbye the to the rock singer.

On Monday, her body will also lie in repose at a funeral home in Ballyneety from 4pm.

Many of those waiting carried yellow flowers such as daffodils, which they said represented sunshine.

O'Riordan's songs were softly played throughout the service and her photographs lined the walls.

On Monday her body will be removed to Ballybricken, ahead of funeral mass on Tuesday at St Ailbe's Church.

It has been arranged the singer will be buried in the O'Riordan family plot, beside her late father who passed in 2011.

Aged just 46 at the time of her passing, the death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious, with the results of the post-mortem examination yet to be revealed.
