India cricket captain Virat Kohli made sure to wish the host team's young stars as they gear up for an unlikely shot at glory.

In a 15-second video on his official Twitter handle, Kohli said, "Our U-17 boys are taking part in the U-17 FIFA World Cup which starts on October 6".

India's under-17 football team is ready for their first encounter of the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup. "At the same time, we will fight as we want to show the world that we belong on the same page as them". The final of the tournament will be played in Kolkata.

The Indian Colts face United States of America on October 6, before locking horns with Colombia and Ghana on October 9 and October 12 respectively at New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
