Donald Trump WILL visit United Kingdom within months as trip finally confirmed

In the meantime Trump has visited Emmanuel Macron in Paris for Bastille Day festivities, held talks with Angela Merkel in Hamburg, toured the Vatican and met the Pope, visited Belgium's King Philippe at the Royal palace in Brussels and held talks with European Union leaders at their headquarters.

There'd been threats of protests if the United States president was given the full VIP treatment.

However he will not sleep at Buckingham Palace as the guest of the Queen, and there will not be a glitzy banquet in his honour.

A report in the London Evening Standard claims that the impending 2018 engagement has been "stripped down" to that of a working trip rather than a formal state visit.

A full-blown State Visit would then be planned, possibly for later in the year.

Prime Minister Theresa May's office declined to comment on the visit, and said its position on the state visit had not changed. "Exact dates for President Trump to visit have not yet been arranged".

Bayern Munich: Heynckes named as coach until end of season
They had also been beaten 3-0 at Paris St Germain in the Champions League. "Bayern Munich is very close to my heart. Work in Spain followed, at Athletic Bilbao, Tenerife and Real Madrid, where he won the Champions League in 1997.

The report said a future state visit had not been ruled out, but no date had been set.

Only three US Presidents have made State Visits to the UK.

MPs from across the political aisle criticised the invitation at the time and John Bercow, the Commons Speaker, announced he would oppose an address to Parliament.

In January the Women's March saw over 100,000 protest in London.

The notion of Trump meeting with the Queen immediately prompted a petition to block the visit.

Instead of being granted a reception with the Queen, the billionaire's trip will take the form of a "working visit" and USA diplomats are working through the finer details, according to the Evening Standard. Mr Trump said that Britain would be at the front of the queue for a trade deal with the USA after Brexit as he accepted the invitation in Washington in January.
