Trump will take 'appropriate' action in event of NK H-bomb test: Tillerson

Trump will take 'appropriate' action in event of NK H-bomb test: Tillerson

Yesterday, North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un, responded with a lengthy statement.

A 3.4 magnitude quake that struck the North Hamgyong province of North Korea today has sparked fears another H-bomb test may have taken place.

Earlier this month, North Korea conducted its sixth and most powerful nuclear test to date and it was subsequently slapped with fresh, tough United Nations sanctions.

"It would also deal a heavy blow to the global nuclear non-proliferation drive, and set a bad precedent that would surely hamper the ongoing multinational efforts at finding a peaceful solution to the Korean Peninsula nuclear deadlock through negotiations".

People around the world have their eyes glued to the tussle between the U.S. and North Korea.

"This may be the most powerful detonation of a bomb in the Pacific ocean", said he.

The president said: "Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and his regime", mocking Kim even as he sketched out potentially cataclysmic consequences.

"In this case we saw none".

People confirms that the 20-year-old makeup mogul is expecting her first baby and is due to give birth in February 2018. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have been dating since April. " Kylie and Travis are doing great", said the source.

North Korea's weakest nuclear test, its first one, conducted in 2006, generated a magnitude 4.3 tremor. It would ban exports of liquefied natural gas to the North immediately as well.

The larger one had a 3.4 magnitude, the group's initial assessment found, which is much smaller than anything declared as a nuclear test in previous years. "Analysis ongoing", CTBTO Executive Secretary Lassina Zerbo said in a Twitter post, referring to the September 3 test.

A US intelligence official and USA -based non-governmental experts said their initial assessment was that the quake was either natural or connected to North Korea's latest and largest nuclear test on Sept.3, and not caused by a new nuclear test.

Mr Wang told the United Nations on Thursday that there should be no new nuclear weapons on the Korean peninsula "whether it is in the North or the South".

According to its website, the first quake - with a 2.6 magnitude occurred at 12:43 a.m. ET. The last atmospheric nuclear weapons test was in October of 1980, conducted by China.

The CTBTO, or Comprehensive Test-Ban Treaty Organization, which monitors nuclear tests, and officials of the South Korean meteorological agency also said they believed it was a natural quake.

It couldn't say how the seismic activity occurred. "What we are finding today is similar to that event and that's where we stand at this point in time".

BEIJING (AP) - China announced Saturday that it will limit energy supplies to North Korea and stop buying its textiles under United Nations sanctions imposed over its nuclear and missile development, further reducing support from Pyongyang's last ally. "Tensions are ratcheting up", as media reports often say, as Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un exchange verbal fires about decimating the other.
