Woman added this week to FBI's 'most wanted' list arrested

Early this morning, at 1:28 a.m. the FBI Public Access Line (1-800-CALL-FBI) contacted the Cumberland County Emergency Communications Center to inform them of information received regarding the possible whereabouts of FBI Top Ten Fugitive Shanika S. Minor.

Minor was the seventh person from Wisconsin and the first from Milwaukee to make the list.

Minor fled after the shooting, and eventually found herself as one of the FBI's Most Wanted, the only woman on the list.

Minor was wanted for her alleged involvement in the shooting death of a pregnant woman, 23-year-old Tamecca Perry-whose unborn child was also killed in the shooting. The victim was just five days away from her due date.

Minor's mother lived in the same duplex as Perry and told Minor about the neighbor playing loud music at unreasonable hours, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Mega Millions numbers for 06/28/2016; did anyone win the $390M jackpot?
The last time a jackpot was won was March 8th, when a $157 million prize went to a player from Seattle Washington State. If no one matches all five numbers plus the Mega Ball in Friday's drawing, the jackpot will continue to increase.

The FBI said Minor was born in Mississippi and has family in the Mississippi Delta.

An arrest warrant was first issued for Minor on March 9 charging her with first-degree intentional homicide and first-degree intentional homicide of an unborn child. During that time, she showed a gun and fired it in the air, before leaving the scene with other people. The caller was able to give a description of Minor to aid in identifying her. Minor's mother ran to the scene and implored her daughter not to hurt the pregnant woman.

"She is described as a Black female, 5'6" tall, 165 pounds, medium build, with black hair and brown eyes.

Since its inception, 509 fugitives have been on the "Top 10" list, and 476 have been apprehended or located.
